Each fall and spring DYSA hosts an Interclub league for boys and girls ages U12, U14, U16 and/or High School (U19) age groups. Teams must be registered through a club that is a member of DYSA. Contact your local club if your child would like to participate in the league.
The DYSA Interclub League was created by Mickey Wherry, former DYSA Director of Recreation and a boad member for Kirkwood Sports (formally Kirkwood Soccer). His vision was have players and teams that did not want to participate in travel soccer to play against teams from other clubs while staying local to do so.
The league is now in it’s 20th year of operation. The league is operated at no cost to the teams. The DYSA Director of Recreation oversees the league each season. The Director of Recreation creates the schedule and works with the clubs to assign fields and game times. A local assignor assigns the referees.
