    2025 DYSA Annual Awards

Each year Delaware Youth Soccer Association honors the coaches, administrators, volunteers and referees who made the most impact during a given season. Anyone can submit a person for consideration for Coach of the Year (Rec and Travel), Administrator of the Year, TOPSoccer Buddy of the Year and Volunteer of the Year. State winners will then be automatically nominated for the US Youth Soccer East Region Awards. The Delaware Soccer Association Referee Committee chooses the Young Referees of the Year (Male and Female).

DYSA will honor each recipient at their Annual Awards Luncheon.

If you would like to nominate a coach, volunteer, administrator, TopSoccer Buddy or Coach, please click on the nomination form below.  All nominations should include three letters of recommendation. All nominations are to be sent to DYSA by July 20.

Nominations are to be emailed to sacosta@dysa.org

The DYSA Awards Committee will then review each nomination and select a winner from each category to represent Delaware.

      ODP Updates

To identify players of the highest caliber on a continuing and consistent basis, which will lead to increased success for the U.S. National Teams in the international arena.

DE ODP players are selected to represent the state from scouting opportunities, training sessions or games. The State Association trainers and scouts are recognized for their ability to identify and develop players with superior skills.

Players may also be identified during club, high school, or league play by State, Regional, or National coaches. There are several ways that players can stand out. We want to help you develop your skills and abilities and learn to put yourself at the service of the team to help the team win games. How do you win soccer games?
