DELAWARE STATE CUP (U11-U12 Age Groups Only)
- Maryland will be hosting a U11 and U12 Age Group regional event for the winners from each state’s State Cup. In Delaware we will follow the same format that we have done before. Teams will register for the State Cup event. If we have more than one team registered for the event then we will either have a game or group play, depending on the number of teams registered. Team registering for the U11-U12 Delaware State Cup that either win their age group or are the only team registered will be required to attend the Regional event. Maryland U11-U12 Regional Event
- Dates: Saturday, June 27th & Sunday, June 28th, 2026
- Location: Bob Lucido Fields @ Covenant Park (4560 Centennial Lane, Ellicott City, MD 21042)
- Eligible Teams: 11u & 12u State Champions or state representative, Boys & Girls
- Format: 6 to 8 team groups – 2 preliminary games on Saturday, 1 preliminary game on Sunday morning, championship game on Sunday afternoon teams would be grouped by competitive level with input from state cup directors
- Cost: $900 per team; would include facility costs, referees, trainers, awards, operations (all inclusive)
- Housing: HBC has been contracted to provide housing for out of state teams
- Deadline for States to Register teams: March 15, 2026
Delaware State Cup (U13-U19 Age Groups)
Delaware Youth Soccer Association hosts the Delaware State Cup, the President’s Cup and a recreational tournament each year for its members.
Fee: There are no fees to enter at the state level. Should there be more than one team in an an age group, teams will self schedule games to determine a state champion. Games must be completed by April 1. Teams are responsible for ref fees, ref assigning fees and field fees at the state level. The team that is crowned the state champ will advance to the appropriate regional event and will be responsible for the entry fee and any other fees associated with the event.
The Delaware State Cup is the first level to teams advancing to the USYS National Championship Series. The USYS National Championship Series is the nations most prestigious youth soccer tournament, providing more than 185,000 players on over 10,000 teams in every state the opportunity to showcase their skills against the best competition in the country, all while emphasizing teamwork, discipline, and fair play.
The USYS National Championship caps a yearlong series of competitions for youth teams from 13U to 19U as they earn their spot through State play. With over 600 collegiate coaches attending the National stages each year, the Series is well-known as a great scouting opportunity due to the high level of skill, talent, and competition showcased at the events.

President’s Cup
Founded in 2008, Presidents Cup is US Youth Soccer’s second-tier national competition. The Presidents Cup highlights competition, camaraderie, and community among participating teams.
