DYSA posts two teams to National League

160 youth teams were announced by the National League commission to participate in the 2014/15 National League.

Two teams from Delaware, KSC Academy 96/97 Boys team and DE Rush 98 were selected from Region 1 to compete in the League.

KSC Academy 96/97 Boys

KSC Academy 96/97 were selected based on proven track record of continued success in US Youth Soccer programs in the Region 1 area. The five times state champions would be competing in the national league for the first time, having finished in the top four of the 2013/2014 Region 1 Premier League season.

 Rush 98 Boys

Delaware Rush 98 Boys represented Region 1 at the USYS National Championships in Germantown, MD last month, as Loudoun, who were Region 1 Champions, had already qualified as the National League winner. The Rush were the first Delaware Team to represent Region 1 at Nationals in over 10 years.

Congratulations to both teams on their qualification and DYSA wishes them the best of luck!
