DE Rush U15 Boys advances to USYS National Championships

Delaware Rush will advance to the US Youth Soccer National Championships as a Region I Representative due to Loudoun already qualifying to nationals via the National League.

At the 2014 US Youth Soccer Region I Championships, Delaware advanced out of the group stage with a 3-0 record and a 7:1 goal differential. Rush took care of Marlboro SA Warriors Blue (NJ) 2-0 in the semifinals before losing to Loudoun SC Red (VA) by the same score in the finals.

The 96 qualifying teams will play preliminary matches Tuesday, July 22 through Thursday, July 24 to determine who will advance in the pursuit for the National Championship. Following a day of rest on Friday, July 25, Under-13 and Under-19 title games will take place on Saturday, July 26. New to the championships this year, Under-14 through Under-18 teams will play semifinals on Saturday morning before crowning the National Champions on Sunday, July 27.

The Rush will be the first Delaware Team to represent Region 1 at Nationals in over 10 years.
