DYSA - ODP News

Tryouts for the Delaware Olympic Development Program (ODP) will begin September 14 as noted below. To be eligible to tryout a player must:

Players with a 1997/1998 birth year may tryout for the 1996 boys or girls teams;

However, this is the only age group that is permitted to “play up”. All other players must tryout and play for the team in their appropriate age group.

Please understand that the dates set below will be the ONLY dates available for ODP tryouts. If you are interested in trying out and can not make either date scheduled for your age group, contact Mary Ann McKenna at maryann.mckenna@state.de.us and we will TRY, to schedule an evaluator to evaluate the player at a league or school game. The decision to evaluate separately will be decided by ODP Administration. This decision will be based on reasons for not being able to attend regularly scheduled tryouts.
