A Coaching Education course can be requested by a Member Club. DYSA must approve all coaching courses hosted in the state of Delaware.

To be able to host a course, member clubs should be able to provide the following:
  • Identify and reserve a safe and appropriate full field with 2 full size goals
  • Identify and reserve an appropriate room with a projector, projector screen and white board
  • Provide drinkable water and ice for field sessions
  • Provide youth players for coaching sessions
  • Provide a sports tent or shelter for sun or rain

Course Audience Hours Fees
"F" License Coaches of 5 to 8 year old players 2 hours
National "E" License Coaches of 9 to 12 year old players 18 Hours  
National "D" License Coaches of 13 and 14 year old players 36 to 40 hours  
National "C" License Focuses on the core concepts of coaching 2 to 3 months  
National "B" License Focuses on the principles of long term player
development and developing a team
4 to 5 months
